American Literary Studies
Sarah Worland received her B.A. and M.A. in English from the University of New Mexico before continuing her studies into the Ph.D. program. Her research interests include 20th-Century American poetry, experimental poetics, Cold War literature, anti-war novels, humor and comedy studies, satire, polemical and political literature, and 17th-Century British literature, especially Milton and Shakespeare. Sarah also teaches composition courses in Core Writing and the Academic Communities Program and introductory literature courses in the English department.
