BiographyGabriel earned a BA from the University of Washington and an MA from San Diego State University. At the University of New Mexico, he is an English PhD student with an emphasis in Rhetoric and Writing Studies as well as an English instructor with the Core Writing Program. Gabriel’s current research interests include antiracist approaches to teaching composition and literature, decolonial rhetorics, precarity theory, critical race theory, queer of color theory, intersectional theory, labor based grading, theatre, Shakespeare, science fiction, and pop culture. Gabriel also holds a minor in Nonprofit Management and has more than a decade of professional experience as a grant writer. | |
