Biography

Andrew Bourelle is a Professor of English at the University of New Mexico, where he teaches classes in creative writing, rhetoric, and technical communication. He is the author of the novels, Shot Clock, 48 Hours to Kill, and Heavy Metal, as well as coauthor with James Patterson of Texas Ranger, Texas Outlaw, and The Texas Murders. His stories, comics, and poems have been published widely in literary magazines and anthologies, including The Best American Mystery Stories, Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine, Florida Review, Hobart, Jabberwock Review, Prime Number Magazine, Stoneboat, and Whitefish Review. His scholarly articles have been published in Communication Design Quarterly, Composition Forum, Computers and Composition, Journal of Business and Technical Communication, Journal of Teaching Writing, Kairos, Technical Communication Quarterly, and WPA: Writing Program Administration.
