Biography

Dr. Tahenaz Biva, a Bangladeshi scholar, is presently undertaking her second PhD in Rhetoric and Writing while serving as a Teaching Assistant at the University of New Mexico. She earned her first doctorate in English in 2025 from the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda under the Government of India’s prestigious fully funded ICCR scholarship, after completing her BA in English and MA in English Language Teaching at the University of Rajshahi. She taught as a Lecturer in the Department of English at Bangladesh Army University of Engineering and Technology. Dr. Biva has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and has presented her work at international conferences across South Asia and beyond. She currently teaches undergraduate English grammar and composition at UNM.
