BiographyLisa Myers is a Lecturer in the English Department where she teaches a variety of courses from freshman composition and technical writing to medieval surveys and ecocriticism. A dedicated educator and supporter of UNM’s mission as a first-generation forward institution, she was a compiler and editor of the UNM Core Writing OER Collection: For First Year English Core Composition Classes and in 2024 she was the recipient of the UNM College of Arts and Sciences Teaching Excellence Award for Adjunct Instructors. Her research primarily focuses upon the disjunction between the environmental history of medieval England and the portrayal of the natural world in medieval literary texts. She has published on Beowulf, Laʒamon’s Brut, Sir Orfeo, The Once and Future King by T. H. White, and the Fate anime series. | |
