The Creative Writing Program invites you to two evenings of literature and fun with our first readings of the fall 2024 semester. Both events are free and open to the public.
Join us first on Thursday, October 17, 2024 for an opportunity to hear from a writer who has been called one of the sharpest essayists of her generation, Jenn Shapland at our inaugural Russo Reading. She will be reading from her recently published book, Thin Skin, a collection of essays. The reading with take place at 7 pm at FUSION Theatre (708) located at 708 1st Street NW in Albuquerque. Then join us on Friday, October 25, 2024 when we will host a Works in Progress reading with Stephen Benz, who is a faculty reader, as well as graduate student readers Jasmine Colorado, Ainé McCarthy and Stormy Stewart. This event will be held at 7 pm at FUSION Theatre (The Cell) located at 700 1st Street NW in Albuquerque.
