Andrew Fields, who is a PhD Student in Medieval Studies, presented his paper titled, “Yggdrasil and Christ: Religious Inclusivity in Japanese Medievalisms” at the 2025 Texas Medieval Association meeting in Austin, Texas. The Texas Medieval Association was founded in 1986 to promote medieval studies in Texas and this year’s theme at the conference was “The Impact of the Middle Ages on Present-Day Global Culture.” Find out more about the Texas Medieval Association through their website.
