Doaa Omran, PhD alumna of Medieval Studies and current Instructor, will be giving a talk titled, “Arab Women and Life Righting: Focus on Egypt & Palestine” on Monday, February 26th at 2 – 3:30 pm in Communication Journalism 119.
In this talk, Omran will discuss how fictional autobiographies of political resistance in Radwa Ashour’s A Women from Tantoura and Susan AbulHawa’s Mornings in Jenin and The Blue Between Sky and Water bring the Palestinian case to the fore.
