Michelle Hall Kells, Professor of Rhetoric and Writing, recently published, “Shelter in Place: Celebrating the 50th anniversary of Earth Day” was published in the July 2020 issue of Black Range Naturalist. Kells explores the challenges of teaching science writing and environmental rhetoric during the COVID-19 pandemic quarantine during the Spring 2020 semester. Kells is co-chair of the Black Range Environmental Writers (BREW), a constellation of community leaders and writers seeking to promote ecoliteracy across communities.
