Sunnie Clahchischiligi, a PhD student in the RW program, has published two more articles on the effects of COVID-19 on the Navajo Nation, one in Rolling Stone Magazine and the other for Searchlight New Mexico. These powerful multimedia articles both include incredible photos of the Navajo Nation taken by Don J. Usner. The second article also includes an additional video story written by Sunnie as well as the option to listen to the article in Diné or English.
Clahchischiligi was also featured in a video from CBS This Morning making supply runs to her family on the reservation while finishing up the Spring semester working as a journalist, teaching, and taking classes during the COVID-19 pandemic.
