On Saturday, August 24, UNM Creative Writing MFA students Tori Cárdenas and Mitch Marty, MFA alumni Ana June and Justin Bendell, and faculty member Andrew Bourelle read at Albuquerque’s inaugural Noir at the Bar event. The reading also featured crime writers Rex Weiner and Steve Brewer.
Noir at the Bar is an event held in cities across the globe that brings the crime fiction community together through readings of short, original, crime fiction writing.
