Michelle Hall Kells presented a series of readings from her recent book, Vicente Ximenes, LBJ’s Great Society, and Mexican American Civil Rights Rhetoric at Texas A&M Corpus Christi, Sam Fore Jr. Wilson Public Library in Floresville (Ximenes’ hometown), and the Guadalupe Theatre in San Antonio, Texas in September in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.
