Deborah Fillerup Weagel was invited to give a lecture at a symposium on Women’s Writing and Comparative Thought sponsored by the University of Upper Alsace in Mulhouse, France. In response to the question, “Y a-t-il un art féminin?” (“Is there a feminine art?”), she presented the paper, “The Patchwork Quilt as Metaphor of Women’s Writing.” The symposium took place in the Salle des Colonnes at the historic Hôtel de Ville in Mulhouse, on March 8, 2019.
