MFA student of poetry, Tori Cardenas recently published several of her poems in multiple magazines. Her poetry  explores folklore, science, and the collective unconscious, and has already appeared in Conceptions Southwest, Cloudthroat Journal, Lavender Review, and the Taos Journal of Poetry and Art.

Arithomania‘ has been published in Ricky’s Back Yard, an online creative literary magazine.

In a world where vampires have been granted the same rights as humans, a teenage misfit and her vampire friend encounter bullying and racism in her hometown.

Cardenas’ poems, ‘Vespula’ and ‘Reading the Will’ will appear in Raspa magazine, a  queer literary magazine that focuses on the Latino perspective.
