Andy Bourelle is the author of the recent crime thriller, 48 Hours to Kill – winner of the 2022 New Mexico-Arizona Book Award for Crime Fiction; and Heavy Metal, winner of the Autumn House Fiction Prize. Bourelle is also coauthor with James Patterson of Texas Ranger and Texas Outlaw, both New York Times bestsellers. Bourelle’s short stories have been published widely in literary journals and fiction anthologies, including The Best American Mystery Stories.
Jennifer Givhan, award-winning novelist and poet, will read from two new books.

Novelist and National Endowment for the Arts and PEN/Rosenthal Emerging Voices fellow, Jennifer Givhan, is a Chicana and indigenous novelist, poet, and transformational coach. She is the author of Jubilee, which received an honorable mention for the 2021 Rudolfo Anaya Best Latino-Focused Fiction Book Award; Trinity Sight, winner of the 2020 Southwest Book Award; and River Woman, River Demon, a finalist for the 2022 New Mexico-Arizona Book Award. She has also published five full-length poetry collections and her honors include the Frost Place Latinx Scholarship and the Joy Harjo Poetry Prize.
