Professor Presents at MLA International Symposium in Lisbon, Portugal

Professor of British and Irish Literary Studies, Feroza Jussawalla presented a paper on Cornelia Sorabji, a Parsi woman writer,as part of a panel on Middle Eastern Women’s Voices at the MLA International Symposium in Lisbon, Portugal. Her talk was entitled, “Cornelia Sorabji: Lost and Rediscovered; A Post-Colonial Voice.”

Jussawalla was furthermore elected to the organizing committee of the MLA, as well as to the Executives of the South Asian Literature association and the D.H. Lawrence Society of North America.
