Blue Mesa Review, the University of New Mexico’s flagship literary magazine, has recently launched a complete redesign of its website. This initiative coincides with the launch of Issue 49, its spring contest issue, featuring guest judges Jenn Givhan (fiction), Sarah Gerard (nonfiction), and Shayla Lawson (poetry). The staff is incredibly proud of all the work that went into executing this project within the last academic year, a feat that wouldn’t have been possible without the enthusiastic backing of the English department and the design talents of the University’s own Communication & Marketing team. A special shout-out to Vincent Narducci, whose hard work and design skills have helped usher BMR into its new era, and another special shout-out to all the administrators and staff who worked so hard to make this happen.
