Director of Technical and Professional Communication, Julianne Newmark, who also serves as Archivist and Social Media Coordinator of the D. H. Lawrence Society of North America (DHLSNA), traveled to Mexico City to deliver a lecture at the Universidad Autónoma de México, in the Faculdad de Filosofía y Letras (FFyL). Newmark’s talk was entitled, “Representations of Transborder Indigeneity in D. H. Lawrence: Learning from in situ Reception” and was a project that leads up to the DHLSNA’s Summer 2025 international conference in Mexico City, for which Newmark serves on the organizing committee. A workshop entitled “Academic Writing and Beyond” was also delivered by Newmark and was attended by over 30 students from UNAM’s FFyL.
