The Center for Teaching and Learning has recognized three from the English Department for their dedication to excellence in teaching: Assistant Professor of Rhetoric and Writing, Cristyn Elder (left) as Outstanding New Teacher of the Year; Professor of American Literary Studies, Jesse Alemán (center) as the Presidential Teaching Fellow for 2016-2018; and Graduate Student of Rhetoric and Writing, Zoe Speidel (right) as Teaching Assistant of the Year.
