The award letter read, &#8220;The AAHHE Publications Committee found your book to be highly relevant to the Latinx\u00a0community and was impressed with your scholarly work.&#8221; Hern\u00e1ndez will be officially awarded at the\u00a02024 AAHHE National Conference.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hern\u00e1ndez has additionally won the 2024 NACCS (National Association of Chicana and Chicano Studies) Book of the Year award.
