Susan also facilitates management for several of the Department\u2019s established operations, including the Rudolfo Anaya Lecture Series, the Mary Power Lecture in Irish Studies, and the D.H. Lawrence Ranch Initiatives. Funding for the Department is secured through Susan\u2019s grant writing and other fundraising efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Outstanding Staff Award is coordinated by the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/pcs.unm.edu\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Provost\u2019s Committee for Staff<\/a>&nbsp;and is distributed yearly based upon nominations by UNM\u2019s faculty, staff, and students.
