Law and literature; specifically, in what ways the restrictive English laws of divorce influenced the plotting of English literature prior to 1937 and the influence, if any. Specific English authors who may have had influenced the legal reform of those laws.

Biography

I am seeking a PhD in literature with a concentration on British literature. I practiced 35 years as a real estate and business lawyer in Albuquerque before retiring to pursue a graduate degrees in English literature. I hope to teach literature upon completion of my PhD.
