Andrew Bourelle is an assistant professor of rhetoric and writing. A former newspaper reporter, Bourelle teaches courses in first-year composition, technical and professional writing, editing, and the history of rhetoric. His scholarly articles are published or forthcoming in Computers and Composition Online, Kairos, Journal of Teaching Writing, and other academic journals and anthologies. His creative work has been published in Cold Mountain Review, Hobart, Prime Number Magazine, and other literary journals and anthologies. Prior to coming to UNM in 2012, he received his PhD from the University of Nevada, Reno, and taught at the University of Montana Western and Arizona State University.
