Biography

Andrew Bourelle is an assistant professor of English at the University of New Mexico, where he teaches classes in composition, creative writing, rhetoric, and technical communication. He is the author of the novel Heavy Metal, winner of the Autumn House Fiction Prize, and his stories, comics, and poems have been published in literary magazines and fiction anthologies, including The Best American Mystery StoriesCold Mountain ReviewFlorida ReviewHobartJabberwock ReviewPrime Number MagazineStoneboat, and Whitefish Review. His scholarly articles have been published in Communication Design QuarterlyComposition ForumComputers and CompositionJournal of Business and Technical CommunicationJournal of Teaching WritingKairos, and Technical Communication Quarterly.
